Our Academics
Christ CMI Central School is established in the year 2012. It is one of the 480 CMI educational institutions all over India including deemed universities, more than 100 reputed CBSE Schools, arts and science colleges, Professional colleges, ITC Centers, and medical colleges.
Its brings about a social transformation with the emphasis on the option for the poor and the minority. It caters to the developmental and educational needs of the children in accordance with the contemporary principles of most modern child education system. We are blessed with professionally trained, competent and multi lingual teachers. Admissions are open to all children irrespective of caste or creed.
The school is under the management of Christ CMI Educational and Charitable Trust, Anjugramam. The immediate Patron of the school is St. Thomas Bhavan CMI Ashram Anjugramam, Kanyakumari District. Rev.Fr. George Panamthottam CMI is the correspondent and the manager and Mrs. Daisy Thomas is the Principal.

YEAR & TIMINGS
1. Academic year is of 10 months duration.
2. It is divided in to 2 semesters; the first Semester is form June to October, the second semester is form November to March.
3. The school timing are from 8:25 am to 3:15 Pm for Grade I to X and 9:30 to 2:15 Pm for Kindergarten. All Saturdays except the Second Saturday are working days. The School office is open from 8:25 Am to 4:45 Pm on every working day.
4. The peoples must be in their classroom by the first bell at 8:20 Am. At the second bell, on the day when there is School Assembly, all should match to the spot assigned to their respective classes. On the Assembly ground; on the other days they must sit in their respective class room in meditation posture. At third bell all must stand up for the prayer.
5. At the end of the day before the classes dispose there will be a thanks-giving prayer lead by our school choir.
6. During intervals and play time people should not go out of the school campus. They should avoid unwanted shouting and quarrelling or the use of discourteous language.
ADMISSION
1. Parents/Guardians seeking admission for the children/wards shall apply in the prescribed from which can be had from school office.
2. Completed application from along with the birth certificate/Transfer certificate should be submitted to the office. The principal shall interview the candidate and found fit shall grant admission. A test is to be taken by those who come from other schools.
3. The Principal reserves the right to refuse admission to any candidate whose admission is considered undesirable for valid reasons.
4. A student who joins the school afresh or from a private school must produce an official birth certificate in support of the date of birth in the application form.
5. A student who comes from a Recognized school must produce the transfer Certificate, and in the case of a student coming from a school outside the state of Tamil Nadu or outside the country, the Transfer Certificate must be countersigned by the Inspector of Schools of the area/Indian consulate in the country.
6. The minimum age for admission to junior K.G and Grade-1 is 4 years and 6 years respectively.
