History

Christ CMI Central school (CBSE) was established in the year 2012. It is one of the CMI educational institutions integrally related to the educational vision of Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the founder of CMI (Carmelites of Mary Immaculate) congregation. The school caters classes from Pre-Nursery to STD X.

The CMI congregation, inspired by the original vision of its founder St. Chavara, has carried on the mission and movement of education under the aegis of the Catholic Church to bring about a social transformation with the emphasis on the option for the poor and minority. Today the CMI fathers run more than 480 educational institutions which include a university, colleges, a great number of CBSE, ICSE schools, International Schools, lTC, Nursery schools, Educational research center, Engineering and Medical colleges.

It caters all the developmental and educational needs of the children in accordance with the contemporary principles of most modern child education systems. We are blessed with professionally trained and competent teachers under the supervision of CMI fathers. Admissions are open to all children irrespective of caste and creed.
